GoTasko — Terms of Use
1. General provisions
1.1. These terms govern the use of the GoTasko platform (the "Platform"), administered by MB Branua, company code 307277992, registered office at Lygumų k. 8, LT-18105, Švenčionių r., Lithuania.
1.2. The Platform connects clients looking for home maintenance / repair services with independent service providers ("meistrai" / providers).
1.3. By using the Platform, you confirm that you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
2. Definitions
- "Client" — a person posting a task through the Platform.
- "Provider" — a natural person or company providing services through the Platform.
- "Task" — a client's description of a service need.
- "Offer" — a provider's response to a task with a price and conditions.
3. GoTasko's role
3.1. GoTasko is an intermediary connecting clients and providers. GoTasko is not a party to the work performed, nor a contractor or employer.
3.2. GoTasko does not verify or guarantee the quality of each provider's work, although it performs a basic review of registration data and the provider's profile before granting access to tasks.
3.3. The service agreement is concluded directly between the client and the provider; GoTasko is not a party to that agreement.
4. Registration and account
4.1. To use the Platform you must create an account and provide accurate information.
4.2. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all actions performed through your account.
4.3. GoTasko may suspend or terminate an account if these terms are breached, false information is provided, or the account is used in bad faith.
4.4. The Platform is intended for persons aged 16 or older.
4.5. You can delete your account at any time directly in the app; the deletion procedure is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Client obligations
5.1. Provide accurate, truthful task information.
5.2. Act honestly and respectfully towards providers.
5.3. Pay the agreed price directly to the provider under their mutual agreement (during the MVP stage, payments do not go through the Platform).
6. Provider obligations
6.1. Hold the right to carry out the declared activity (registered individual activity, business certificate, or company, where required by law).
6.2. Provide accurate information about qualifications and experience.
6.3. Perform work professionally, in line with the agreement with the client.
6.4. Independently settle taxes with the state on income received.
7. Limitation of liability
7.1. GoTasko is not liable for the quality of work performed, adherence to deadlines, or damage arising from a provider's acts or omissions.
7.2. Disputes about performed work are resolved directly between the client and the provider. GoTasko may help mediate but is not obliged to.
7.3. The Platform is provided "as is", without any additional warranties.
8. Reviews, content, and reports
8.1. After a task is completed, the client may leave a review and a rating.
8.2. Reviews must be honest and based on personal experience.
8.3. GoTasko reserves the right to hide or remove from public view reviews that breach these terms or the law; review content is not rewritten.
8.4. Posting unlawful, defamatory, abusive, misleading, or rights-infringing content is prohibited — this applies to reviews, task messages, photos, and profile information.
8.5. You can report inappropriate content or behavior by email to pagalba@gotasko.lt or support@gotasko.lt. We review reports and may hide content and restrict or suspend accounts that break these terms.
9. Intellectual property
All Platform content (design, logo, software code) belongs to MB Branua or is used on a lawful basis.
10. Changes to these terms
GoTasko may amend these terms, informing you of material changes in advance by email or on the Platform.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes are resolved by negotiation and, failing agreement, in the courts of the Republic of Lithuania.
